Setting up MySQL replication
Hi,
Does anyone have experience setting up a MySQL replication setup? I want information and how to about setting up complete replication of a MySQL server. I've already 6-8 G data within database.

MySQL :: MySQL 5.0 Reference Manual :: 16.1.1 How to Set Up Replication
I have used the above guide to make this happen across 3 servers... note it is an absolute PITA to get started but once its working it is very easy to maintain and recover.... the hardest part for me was getting a solid copy to start from since we are in a 24/7 environment.... very slick once you get it working....
