Hi , im new to this forum so firstly a Hi to all.

I dont consider myself a newb to linux but ive got a long way to go.

I have built a home server from scratch using RHEL5 (Centos) and have configured it using Raid L5 also with LVM partions.
I have also installed apache etc, and currently host an intranet web page which shows me various reports / stats of my server via cgi shell scripts etc.

As per the title oracle 11g is installed and i can do what i need through EM & the command line.

What i want is some guidance on creating a web front end so that it can talk to my oracle database i can do the html to make the forms i want and layout etc.... Something simple such as a table to keep all my familys birthdays in. what would be the best way to achive this simple task of taking the results of my web form to the database and bringing back results.?

Im happy to do some reading so if youve got a link to somewhere that would be great also.
