Default router IP address is 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2 or 192.168.1.254

I think http://10.240.89.199/ is Dataone portal IP address and not router IP.

Open browser and you need to type http://192.168.1.1

If it is not working type next IP http://192.168.1.2

Again If it is not working type next IP http://192.168.1.254

Which OS you are using Windows XP? 2000? Linux? if all of the above IP failed then we need to find out Router IP but i guess 192.168.1.1 should work for you.

Hi, sandeep

You need to open command prompt (Click on Start > Run and type cmd and press enter key). Now type the command:
Code:
ipconfig /all
Please send back your output here. So that we can find out your router IP.

Yes and no. If you can find out Gateway IP or router IP from output it will be fine.

If you can't then paste output. And don't worry it will not show your real public IP

Do u have working setup right now?
