A typical consumer router has following setup

Default IP: 192.168.1.1
Default Username: admin
Default Password: password
OR may be
Default Password: admin

I think it provides typically DHCP, NAT, DMZ and firewall services. There is also site somewhere on net it provides the list of all default password. Just search it using google

beetel 220bx = crap; beetel webdistributor = 8 times replaced, excessive heating. planning to remake the reboot image for this beetel 220bx series. wish me luck. just the lack of serial port is an IRK...... if i fsck it up? then i can jtag it up and fix it. but this is crazy. WIP. thats all.
p.s. the NVRAM is just less 16 MiB and ram is 4 MiB. well, i can screw these one by one while WIP, and get it replaced
