Assembly IP
hey all,,
I have a DELL laptop
as i understood ,, each High language is being re-coded to Low language(Machine Language) which computer understands in binary format(0,1)
now lets say that u're using windows xp. when u click at the shutdown/restart button u actually tells the IP(Instruction Pointer) to go to specific address which is being dedicated by the manufacturer .
I have an idea about how using assembly, is it possible to restart the computer by an assembly code ?
like -rIP (to change the IP registry -or to redirect it to the restart/shutdown address
I have Laptop DELL INSPIRON 1525.
can someone help me to find the IP Of restart/shutdown from the manual handbook of the dell manufacturer ?
thank you very much.
