Question need solution

(a) Do you find .login, .profile, .csrc files in your directory?
(b) What do these three files do?

These are the files used by the (c)shell to set variables, paths aliases etc.
Some useful info can be found at Unix - Frequently Asked Questions (5/7) [Frequent posting] - look for section 5.6
