Angry Mount usb key in Centos Linux

Dear all,

I am not able to mount my usb key in Centos. I type mount /dev/sdb1 /media/key but it tell me /dev/sdb1 not exits. How to mount and create /dev/sdb1. It work at my friends house as /dev/sdb1.

by default it should recognise your usb stick yar..

can you give fdisk -l output here? so that we can check your USB detected properly or not..
and one more thing.. if ur USB is formated with ntfs it will be bit complicated.. so when ever you formate your USB formate with FAT32.. so that it can be accessed by both Windows and Linux easily..

kumarat9pm

it was different name fdisk -l give me correct name and now it is working. it is fat 32 drive.
