Has anyone seen a single non dvd disk for the basics of centos 5

For example centos 4.8 has a server version with only the basics needed for a server. Then once installed I use yum to update what is needed.

I'm looking for a centos 5 version of this.

Thanks

I'm not sure but you can use netinstall disk. It is a single disk and rest of the system is installed using http / ftp over the Internet.

Cool I will investigate it, I wish I could do a custom disk myself with just the stuff I need. I don't have dvd in most of our servers yet.

Thanks!

You can get a basic server install with disc 1 and opt to not install any of the packages (base, editors, etc). It is easier if you do a text based install as well, just type 'linux text' at boot: once the CD boots up.
