Dear all,
When I was starting the system in rescue mode, It was showing that "You don't have any Linux partition. Press return to get a shell. The system will reboot automatically when you exit from the shell." My problem is that when system is not mounting on /mnt/sysimage, and root is not found, how can I take backup of data? Except mounting on /mnt/sysimage, any option to mount / for taking backup of data? Please tell me shortly. Regards Amit. |

In that hard disk lvm was created and mounted on /root. I renamed the logical volume. When I run the command e2lable /dev/sda, It wan not finding /root . Please tell me what is cause and solution. Bad partitions, sector and much more can cause problem. Restore data from backup. You've working backup, don't you? If you do not have backup try the following software to recover the data:
