2.5.*Preparing for a Network Installation

It seems the media tree needs to be setup as a loop device.

Is there a way to set this up on a windows 2003 with iis as the web server

Never tried it, but it should work if you copy all media files to windows server as disk1/ disk2 and so on. You need to go to IIS manager and find out pubroot and create disk1, disk2 and so on. Then insert cd into server drive and copy all files from cdrom to pubroot/disk1.

finally was able to setup iis webserver as a http media server for doing the kickstarts, all problems were caused by corrupt extraction of the dvd iso image.

Once I got the redhat 5 dvd extracted correctly everything else went smoothly.
