How to install GNU make(1) under Centos?
Hi, all:
I used following command to install something: yum install "Developement Tools" and I used "make install" command to install something in success. Does this assume I installed GNU make(1) in Centos 5 already? Because I need GNU make(1) to be installed under Centos 5. Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Duan,
If you want to install just the make package, this should do it: yum install make yum will be smart enough to install the rpm dependencies. On the other hand if you want to install the whole Development tools, try this yum groupinstall "Development Tools"
