Default CentOS Linux: Upgrading Apache php-mysq from 4 to 5 for MySQL 5

Hi

Can any on tel me how to upgrade my Apache web server from 2.0.52, installed from CentOS 4.6 CD, to 2.0.59
& to upgrade to PHP: 5.2.5
i am doing this for a test environment that has to be a duplicate of the original

I don't have to upgrade because it's a new installation

Thanks
Dan

You can't all CentOS 4.x includes MySQL 4.x only and older version of Apache. However, to use latest MySQL 5.x and Apache 2.x including PHP 5.x, install CentOS 5.2.

CentOS is clone of Redhat Linux. Redhat only runs stable version in particuler os release.

Hope this helps!

Default RHEL4 Upgrade

This is probably way too late for the original poster, but if anyone else ends up checking this thread for how to get the new goods on RHEL4, here's the process we went through upgrading PHP and MySQL on RHEL4 along with a list of all the landmines we encountered.
