Default Two different Mail Server

Dear All,

I have two mail server, which are configured with two different WAN IP network, so if primary mail server or first WAN IP ( or 1st ISP) is down other secondary mail server starts working ( with 2nd ISP's WAN IP).

The primary mail server uses Qmail and secondary mail server uses Postfix and both users Maildir as mailbox. Both servers uses CentOS distro.

At the time when 1st mail server is not working, 2nd mail server starts working and the mails are store in secondary mail server. Now i want to setup, such as all the mails stored in secondary mail server also restore in primary mail server.

Is there any way to send/receive mails from outlook whithout changing pop and smtp for both primary and seconday mail server.

Thanks

One way I can see is to install a NFS server and store the mails in the NFS mount. This way, it would be available to both the servers.

The second way(never tested thi is if you are using the same POP3/IMAP server and the same format (maildir?), you can rsync between the two machines.
