Hello,
I have configured a routeing server using iptables for the localnetwork. I often get error messages when i connect to our mail server especially pop3 . When i checked the mail server log it said "Maximum connection limit reached for ip="My routing server ip" So i increased the no of pop3 connections to the mail server. But that doen't solve the problem. I suspect that one or more of the local network network machines is compramised and that is causing the problems. Now, i want to log the pop3 connections that are sent out from my localnetwork to my mail server using IPTABLES so that i can get an idea which machine is causing this. I tried a no of rules and i am lost... Can anyone please help me to write that iptables rule.. Thanks in advance.. Santhosh. |
