Default Linux Find Hard Disk Make, Serial No info

hi all,

I m not getting harddisk information i.e. Make, Serial No. etc.etc. from a reomte server running on Centos 5 could ny body help me out to get hdd information from remote server.

Have you tried any one of the following commands?
SCSI Hdd info:
Code:
sdparm /dev/sda
See Linux Find SCSI Hard Disk Model, Serial Number, Size, and Total Sectors Information for more examples.

IDE / SATA hdd info:
Code:
hdparm -i /dev/hda
See Linux: Find out serial / model number and vendor information for SATA and IDE hard disk : nixCraft for more examples

Finally use dmidecode to get all BIOS and hardware information
