Before installing an update, make sure all previously released errata / security fixed relevant to the system have been applied. CentOS Linux comes with an easy to use tool called yum to apply package updates from the internet.
Login as the root user. Type the following command to apply all security update Code:
yum update Code:
pup Code:
man pup man yum
