Hi all,
I had a freebsd 6.2server , here I want this m/c to be act as a server which will users the facility to download iso images , each iso has 650 MB size , I heard about bit torrent so I installed this through FreeBSd ports tree , the installation is complete .( I can see the commands bittoreent-curses, bittorrent-console, bittorrent-tracker etc .. by typng them in the shell) I dont know where to put the iso images (these images stored in this servers /home /myuser/1.iso, 2.iso,3.iso etc ..) so that the users of my webportal can down load these images (by clicking a link in the website that I hosted in this server machine ) I have apache2.2 installed and working in this box But how I can use Bittorrent to serve these big files to the remote users of m y website (so that I can save a lot of bandwidth ) pls provide your suggestions |
