How do I backup MySQL Databases?
Backup is one of the important things for me. I run large forum and web based interface is not working for making MySQL backup.
So how do I backup a mysql database? Do I need to write script in php or perl? Can I run it automatically from home computer? TIA

You can try Amanda. I did not used it but I have gone through the reviews of this product and found it very interesting. Other guys from this forum will definitely help in configuration.
