I am very new to FreeBSD, and I had a buddy help me out. I basically formated to DesktopBSD, he sshed in and reconfigured it to FreeBsd.
I am using Gnome as the GUI and I am having some problems. I just came over from Windows and will be posting alot so if you would help with some of these problems I have it would be a great help. Remember I have very little experience with FreeBSD so pls bare with me, I know I knw I am a Newb, but we have to start somewhere right?


I would like to put music on here and I have Deluge Bittorrent Client. Everytime I try and start it up it restarts my computer. So I went with Ctorrent. In there I was told, in the INSTALL file, to ./configure, then make install, then hash, then ctorrent -h. First of all how do i just hash? Second It doesn't seem to really work right so I know I am messing it up. A little help would be nice.

Where can I get a cheat sheet if you will on using terminal in the Gnome GUI?
