Hello ,
I m using a Reliance Broadband connection .. I want 2 connect my FreeBSD machine to the internet .The process of connecting to internet is simple .. Go to reliancebroadnet.co.in They will ask for username and password and voila .. internet is up Thats the story in my windows and Ubuntu machines .. Can anybody tell me what to do to setup my internet in my FreeBSD machine .. I m using freebsd 7 .0 .. and i dont have x driver installed .. I want to go to the internet to update my ports and have my xdriver installed ... I tried PPP .. but failed miserably .. and i tried reading handbook .. But that too didnt help me .. Welcome to forum!
You need a driver for connection. How do you connect to internet - using usb modem, ethernet, wireless, wifimax direct connection? Is this a metro ethernet connection? Do you know the name of driver under Linux? If so we can help to find out driver under FreeBSD.
