I indeed have already been down the path you suggested. But I went to network setup again.
And entered the connection detail as shown on the thumbnail all o.k.
But on the DNS setup, on the top line is 10.1.1.1, but the ISP DNS is 211.29.132.12 + secondary domain of course, there is no way it will hold those addresses, I can enter them but as soon as I go to say connections and back, I have 10.1.1.1, if I delete 10.1.1.1 and add the ISP DNS,
guess what, 10.1.1.1.(server DNS) returns. My modem is a SpeedStream 4200, on Ethernet.
