Default Set and access apache from DSL / ADSL connection

Hi all i have already setup and running a web server in my debian box and i wonder how can i access it from the internet(my personal website and the box by ssh).My home LAN excepts my debian box has and a win xp box from where i connect via ssh to debian. The two of them are connected to the internet by my adsl router(Level One FBR-1407A).As far from now from the search i have done i figure out that i have to create an account to dyndns.com and then install and setup ddclient in debian.I have done that but the only i achieved is to ping my account.Does anyone have any ideas?
