Hey nixcraft!
This is great, I like the idea of the lists of guaranteed hardware: I am a member at a few Linux forums, but this is the first time I have seen a direct involvement with Hardware pages? This is a really good idea. I appear to be trying things with hardware, see below:
My main machine (First self-build 5 months ago).
Athlon 3200+ AM2, 7600GS, 1G/533/DDR2, ASUS MSNPV-VM M/b
My old machine (Built by friend, a trusty Win98SE machine).
Athlon 1200 462, TNT2, 256/PC133, Jetway 830 CF M/b
My £4.00 Sterling machine (Acquired for the said price in a Jumble Sale).
Celeron 533 370, Intel VGA, 128/PC100, M6TWC M/b ( ? still need to look at thi

.
My test-rig (Just assembled from bits due to the emigration of a neighbor).
Athlon 900 462, 3Dfx Voodoo, 128/266/DDR, SV266A M/b(? Still need to look at thi

I am still very much learning about builds and OS installations and I have yet to focus on any kind of direction in the OSS and FOSS World: Hence looking at various places on the net (I Got my first network connection in Dec 2006 at 44 years old!) and paying £4 for computers! What a bargain!!
Perhaps I can start an Ed-j factory outlet!
