Purchased RHEL server edi last week.. Installed workng grt

i am trying to see the mistake i have done in internet configuration but couldnt figure out

wired connection has identifed my connection as etho as assigned an ip for it

the following are the messge i can see

ip : 169. xxx.xxx.xxx
broadcast addres :169.xxx.xxx.xxx
default 0 . 0.0 .0
primary dns 0.0.0.0
secondary dns 0.0.0.0

when i ping to the 169.xxx.xxx.xxx i get a reply .. but i cant use the internet

is there any configuration that i have to give

My other os is windows xp where internet works fine
I use AccessRunner Dsl in xp.

can someone give me a sol ..
