Default Enterprise Linux (2.6.18*) LAN drivers for HP slimline s3500t Desktop
I installed enterprise linux 5 in my PC. WHen I do ifconfig -a, eth0 is not listed. I manually created ifcfg-eth0, installed Realtec r8168 and added an entry to /etc/modprobe.conf. Still I am not able to see eth0 and not able to connect to Internet from Linux. Whenever I try to start eth0, it says Unknown Device.

It works fine from Windows

Please help me out.
