Thumbs up You need to have a VPN
Virtual Private Network .

you should have software like VPN ( by CISCO or any other ) so that u can connect to the server from ur home but u should establish the connection from server with proper connections to the VPN.

and then after that u can connect thru VPN and use putty and also Xwindows like reflection windows for GUI appearance.

I dont know how to establish the server and VPN other wise I could hav helped u out.
