configuring DNS on Solaris 10
Hi,
I am new to Solaris.I have installed Solaris 10 on my PC.I connect to internet via DHCP.My ISP has provided me a router.Relevant drivers are installed for NIC.(realtek 8139)
After getting some information I executed sys-unconfig.But,still I am not able to connect to internet.

first I did this
************************************************** *****
I executed the sys-unconfig and answered as follwows.
select a language -- 0(English)
select a locale --0 (English)
key board layout --US-English
Networked -- yes
use DHCP for rtls0-- yes
enable IPv6 for rtls0-- no
configure kerberos Security --no
Name Service -- None
NFSv4 Domain Configuration -- use the NFSv4 domain derived by the system
and so on..
it further asked my root password, date time settings etc.
What went wrong in above mentioned steps?
Do I need to contact my ISP to get it's IP address?
further I executed ifconfig and netstat. The results were as follows.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
# ifconfig -a
lo0: flags=2001000849 mtu 8232 index 1
inet 127.0.0.1 netmask ff000000
rtls0: flags=1004843 mtu 1500 index 2
inet 192.168.1.100 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 192.168.1.255
ether 0:16:76:84:7b:b0
# netstat -nr
Routing Table: IPv4

192.168.1.0 192.168.1.100 U 1 1 rtls0

Do I need to configure DNS? Which values should I use over there? What should be the domain name?
Do I need to make any changes in the configuration?

I have done full installation. Also all drivers necessary for
networking are installed properly.
I get dynamic IP address while connecting to internet.
I want to configure DNS. But, I don't know how to configure it.

3. I did this
************************************************** ******8
I executed sys-uncofig and then....
My problem is ,I don't know what should I enter during configuration
of DNS.
For Name Service I selected DNS. On next screen it asked me domain
name.I was unable to answer this question.
What should be the domain name?Is it anything or my ISP's name or any
name derived from it?
On next screen it asked for Server address.Actually there is space for
three addresses.
What should I enter over there? Will my own IP address do?or my
router's IP address or some else?
On next screen DNS search list is to be provided. What is it?
What should I write over there exactly?
I was not able to answer the questions.
What I want is that I want to connect to internet on Solaris 10.Exactly,What should I do considering the above information?
Thanking You!
Prashant Poman.
