After I tar xzvf /home/jason/DOWNLOADS1/bibledesktop-1.0.7-bin.tar.gz I get a "jsword-1.0.7 " file pooping up in my home directory .
How do i see ./configure file in current directory?
Not sure what you mean.?
I get this same problem with normal Tar.gz & tar.bz files where some install with no probs but some give the error explained above when i get to ./configure . & thats where I am at a Loss as Why does one TarBall install & not another when they all look the same. If tar Balls Have Different Ways of Being Installed because of differences Then Why Dont These People who Give These Tutorials Only Explain one way to install them.
Not To worry
